Comedy Comes to The Coast: UK's Biggest Comedians Play Scarborough in 2015

Alan Carr

UPDATE: Noel Fielding has postponed his upcoming UK Tour including his date at Scarborough Spa. The show has been rescheduled to Saturday 21 November 2015. All tickets for the original date will be valid for the corresponding re-scheduled date.

Next year looks sets to be a year to remember for fans of comedy in Scarborough, as some of the country's biggest comedians head to the seaside.

Starting in February Scarborough Spa will play host to the likes of Noel Fielding, Stewart Lee, Alan Carr, Roy Chubby Brown and Jimmy Carr.

The council owned venue, which benefited from a £6.5m refurbishment in 2011, is now managed by Sheffield International Venues (SIV), who took over in 2012.

SIV runs over 20 other conference and entertainment facilities, including City Hall and Don Valley Stadium, and it seems their little black book of contacts is paying dividends for Scarborough.
