Boy Band Veterans Boyzone Return to Scarborough

Boy Band veterans Boyzone will be returning to Scarborough Open Air Theatre this year on Saturday 13 June.

The Irish pop band, made up of Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham, return to the Yorkshire Coast for the second successive year following their sell-out performance at the venue last summer.

Boyzone are one of the most successful bands in the UK, with more than 25 million records sold worldwide and will perform tracks from the new album as well as many of their biggest hits.

Cllr David Chance, the council’s Cabinet Member for Tourism and Culture said:

"Getting Boyzone back to Scarborough has been something we've been working on for a number of months and we’re delighted to have secured a date in their 2015 schedule."

"The boys went down a storm with fans last year, not only for their amazing performance on stage but for the buzz they created with their helicopter tour of Scarborough before they arrived at the venue. It was without doubt one of the best received concerts we've ever had at the Open Air Theatre and we’re hoping tickets will fly out of the door again this year."

Tickets for Boyzone are priced at £35 and will go on sale from Sunday 8 March at 9am.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets from Scarborough Open Air Theatre box office (01723 818111), The Sands office in Scarborough’s North Bay, (01723 821888), (0844 844 0444) and (0114 223 3777).
