Sci-Fi Scarborough is Set to be F.A.B.

SciFi Scarborough Gerry Anderson Props

In a major coup for Sci-Fi Scarborough organisers have announced a huge display of original props, scenery, uniforms, puppets and spaceships from the amazing world of the legendary Gerry Anderson.

Master collectors & replicators 'Eagle 6' will come together to present their combined collection of amazing artifacts from some of the best loved TV series of all time and will be on hand to talk to fans of all ages about the creation of these iconic items.

As well as Thunderbirds, Anderson's most famous creation, the display will also include items from Captain Scarlet, Space Precinct, Joe 90, Stingray, Terrahawks and Space 1999.

Also in attendance will be special guests Shane Rimmer, voice of Scott Tracy, David Graham, voices of Parker, Brains, Gordon Tracy and Kyrano and Jamie Anderson, son of Gerry Anderson.

Event co-organiser Steve Dickinson said:

"To have the Eagle 6 team on-board & exhibiting their fantastic collection is a dream come true for SFS. The work of Gerry Anderson was a massive part of the childhood for fan boys & dads alike and to have his son Jamie joining us is just fantastic, there is a lot of excitement for this year’s event."

The Gerry Anderson contingent will join some amazing guests already announced including Dave Prowse who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, Paul Blake, Femi Taylor, Mike Edmonds, Alan Harris, Pam Rose and Andrew Lawden.

Other attractions already announced include Movie Mania original film prop store from York, UK Sandraiders and the North Yorkshire Props Department, Comic Book artists, R2-D2 builders club, C3-PO cosplayer, Mega City Judges, Project Dalek plus many more stalls and displays.
