Final Line Up Announced For Scarborough Jazz Festival

The Weave


The final two bands have been added to this year’s Scarborough Jazz Festival bill completing the line-up for 2015.

Latest recruits The Weave and The Jam Experiment join a stylish and innovative festival programme which will take place this September.

The Weave are a collection of some of Liverpool’s finest musicians, know for their warm, melodic and joyous music.

Barely out of school The Jam Experiment are a breath of fresh air on the jazz scene having won the 2014 Jazz North Introduces scheme, which gave them the platform to perform their music at high profile jazz festivals in the North.

Their line-up includes the winner of the inaugural BBC Young Musician Jazz Award, saxophonist Alexander Bone and are heavily influenced by guitar titan Pat Metheny, keyboard legend Herbie Hancock, bassist Christian McBride and pianist Gwilym Simcock.
