REVIEW: Café View

Cafe View

The strong selling point of Café View is, without doubt, the view over Scarborough's wonderful South Bay.

We were lucky enough to grab a window seat, and although I am a Scarborian, I never fail to be amazed by the town's beauty.

The café thoughtfully provide binoculars too, which is a nice touch. I had the carrot cake, which tasted as good as it looks. Everything on the menu is homemade, and reasonably priced.

The café is situated at the bottom end of town, so would probably be better placed for tourists on the beach, than the busy shopper in the town centre, although I would urge locals to check it out, if you fancy a change from your routine.

My only gripe would be the hard chairs. I like a bit of comfort with my afternoon tea, and comfier armchairs would suit me better.
