The 11 members of Ensemble 360 present a glorious programme of chamber music brimming with vitality and energy at the Stephen Joseph Theatre next month.

From the seductive opening melody of Dvorak’s 2nd Piano Quintet, the work of a composer at the peak of his powers, to Adagio and Rondo, Mozart’s last completed chamber work, and the irrepressible ‘joie de vivre’ of Spohr’s Nonet, this is a concert full of beauty, ‘wild dancing’ and happiness.

Ensemble 360 is now established as one of the most outstanding chamber groups working in the UK today, renowned not only for the quality and integrity of the members’ playing, but also for their ability to communicate their enthusiasm and intensity to audiences.

The group appears regularly on BBC Radio 3 and has collaborated with a variety of artists and organisations including poet Ian McMillan, actors Maggie Steed, Samuel and Timothy West, composer Huw Watkins and film-maker Katie Goodwin.

The members of Ensemble 360 have performed as chamber musicians and soloists at many of the top venues and festivals across the UK, Europe, America and Japan as well as with orchestras such as the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie, Philharmonia, Northern Sinfonia, Camerata Bern, Royal National Scottish Orchestra and Manchester Camerata.

“Ensemble 360’s members bring virtuosity and sensitivity while revealing real delectation in sharing this music with their friends.” - Fanfare Magazine, USA
