The Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of The Merchant of Venice can be seen in an encore screening at the Stephen Joseph Theatre on Monday 17 August at 7.45pm.

The play was recorded for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Live from Stratford-upon-Avon programme in collaboration with Picturehouse Entertainment. The Bard’s uncompromising tragedy can be seen again in a cinema screening at the SJT.

The Merchant of Venice is directed by Polly Findlay (Arden of Faversham 2014) in her first Shakespeare production for the company.

Tickets, priced at £17, are available from the Box Office on 01723 370541 and online at
