Appeal to Find Missing Scarborough Man Gary Sheffield
Scarborough police have issued an urgent appeal to help find missing man Gary Sheffield.

Gary, aged 52, who is from Scarborough, went missing between 5am and 6am from Scarborough Hospital on the morning of Monday 21 December 2015.
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for Gary’s safety and welfare and are appealing to anyone who may have seen him since yesterday morning or knows where he is now, to contact them.
He has no access to a phone or his own transport and officers are appealing to public transport operators, including train, bus and taxi operators to contact them in case Gary has used public transport to leave the area. They are also appealing to any motorists who may have given him a lift.
Gary is described as white, 6ft tall, grey haired and of thin build. He has grown a beard and lost weight since the attached photo was taken.
He was last seen wearing a grey jumper with a denim blue collar, sandy coloured Henry Lloyd jeans, a navy-blue fleece (zip up) and smart, black, lace-up shoes.
Officers and volunteers from Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team are currently carrying out searches in the Scarborough area.
Anyone who has seen Gary or knows of his current whereabouts is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
